So often, data collection can become cumbersome and overwhelming. As teachers and related service providers, we tend to be at one extreme or the other… too much data without a purpose OR not enough data to determine progress. PRESENTERS SUMMARY:
Suzanne Fitzgerald received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Services from Western Washington University and her Teaching Certification and Masters in Special Education degree from the University of Washington. In addition to her leadership within the Styer-Fitzgerald Program for Functional Academics, she serves as a Project Partner with Washington Sensory Disability Services where she assists children who have significant disabilities or are deaf-blind.

Emma Packard earned her bachelor of arts in early childhood education, then attended the University of Washington in Seattle, where she earned her masters in education specializing in individuals with severe or profound disabilities. She teaches at Totem Falls Elementary in the Snohomish, Washington School District, working with students who need individual help with life skills, communication and social skills.
