Participants will:

  • Review assessments: Developmental, Functional Vision, and Functional Hearing
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Orientation and Mobility
  • Identify areas of improvement within the home and school environments to enhance learning
  • Develop skills to aid student with hand use, crawling, standing, and walking

PRESENTERS SUMMARY:
Susan Abu-Jaber is an orientation and mobility specialist and currently works at the Perkins campus. She has worked with students with visual impairments, deaf-blindness and other challenges for 31 years.
