Disabled People in STEM: Podcast

Meet this amazing panel of amazing STEM professionals: Liz Henry, Jennison Asuncion, and Josh Miele.

The Disability Visibility Project is an online community dedicated to recording, amplifying, and sharing disability media and culture. Their podcast, Disabled People in STEM, focuses on a panel of three: Liz Henry, Jennison Asuncion and Josh Miele. Liz works at Mozilla as the Release Manager at Mozilla for Firefox. Jennison is an Engineering Manager at LinkedIn responsible for accessibility. Josh is a scientist at the Smith-Kettlewell Eye Research Institute. These three panelists will be talking about how they got into tech, their STEM educational experiences, and the ways the tech community improve their recruitment and retention of disabled people. Jennison and Josh share their personal experiences about being totally blind in the tech field and Liz shares about her experiences in a wheelchair.
