High School Math Study

Recruiting high school math teachers and students with visual impairments for this math study.

Study Participants Needed: HS Mathematics Teachers and Students with Visual Impairment

C. Rett McBride is a Mathematics Education Ph.D. student at the University of Georgia and is recruiting study participants for his dissertation research; Instructional Practices that Impact Students with Visual Impairments in Inclusion High School Mathematics Classes.  He is proposing a multiple case study, wherein each case consists of a mathematics teacher teaching a high school (grades 9 – 12) inclusion mathematics class, a student with visual impairment who is enrolled in the class, and any teacher or paraprofessional who supports the SVI in the math class.  If you know of an SVI taking a high school mathematics class and have contact information for their mathematics teacher, please send the math teacher’s contact information to Rett ([email protected]) or forward this announcement directly to the math teacher.
