We’re now accepting applications for the 2021-22 session of Compass, our nine-month virtual enrichment program for blind and visually impaired high school students in grades 9 through 11.
The program, designed to help each student develop a plan to build up the critical academic and blindness skills necessary to reach their own post-secondary goals – from academics to independence, self-advocacy, confidence and more – is a completely new take on college and career readiness.
It’s exciting – and we know that parents, students, educators and referring professionals have questions.
We can help. Join program directors Leslie Thatcher and Kate Katulak, along with the Perkins Admissions team, for a virtual information session on Wednesday, February 10, at 4 p.m. Eastern. They’ll be prepared to answer questions regarding admissions, curriculum, time commitments and funding.
