What do YOU think about audio description? How well was a specific video audio described? How did it impact you?
Contest: Students can choose a described video from DCMP (Described and Captioned Media Program), the library or a video streaming service and write a review of the video and it’s audio description. Reviews can be submitted in writing, in braille or via an audio recording.
Who: Students who are blind or low vision, ages 7 – 21
When: Deadline for entries is January 31, 2022

The American Council of the Blind’s Audio Description Project (ACB-ADP) and Described and Captioned Media Program (DCMP) are cosponsoring an exciting opportunity for young people who are blind or low vision. DCMP provides access to thousands of educational videos with audio description including movies, videos and other forms of multimedia.
