Socrative is a quiz-based, formative assessment tool with multiple features that can enrich teaching and learning. Socrative is currently offering free access to Socrative Pro and Showbie Pro. Below is Socrative’s statement:
COVID-19 Response: Complimentary Socrative Pro & Showbie Pro for Schools Moving to Distance Learning
In light of the need for schools to consider distance learning in response to the Coronavirus threat, we are offering our applications to support continued education in your community.
For our Socrative Pro and Showbie Pro school and district customers
We are providing free additional licenses to cover all your staff and students on Socrative Pro and Showbie Pro through July 31, 2020.
For schools and districts that are not currently our customers
We are providing free access to Socrative Pro and Showbie Pro for all your teachers and students through July 31, 2020.
To take advantage of this opportunity, please have your school or district administrator in charge of your COVID-19 response plan, complete this application form. Our team will get back to you within one business day with setup instructions and next steps.
Showbie and Socrative form the essential tools to manage a distance learning classroom. Both applications are available cross-platform and are useful on home computers, tablets, iPads, or mobile phones.
Showbie is a real-time application for communication and feedback with key features to support distance learning, including:
- Communication and chat
- Parent access
- Staff curriculum development and co-teaching
- School oversight
- Assignment and curriculum distribution
