ObjectiveEd: Sara and Kai Use Braille AI Tutor

Learn how the Braille AI Tutor game improves braille literacy.

This fun digital game encourages students to practice their braille skills and reading accuracy. Using the ObjectiveEd web-dashboard, the TVI creates her own sentences or stories that are motivating and on-level for her student. Braille AI Tutor sends one sentence at a time to the student, who reads the sentence aloud on his braille display. Using advanced speech recognition, the student’s speech is converted into text which Braille AI Tutor compares to the orginal text. The student earns points in the Treasure Chest game if he has decoded the braille and spoken the sentence correctly.

Students can work independently – perfect for remote instruction and/or homework!

In the video below, Sara and Kai use the Braille AI Tutor Read Aloud game for improving braille literacy.
