Equatio and Google Docs Tutorial

Here is a way to input accessible math equations!

Equatio is a digital math editor that is created by the company Texthelp, the makers of Read&Write. Equatio provides students multiple ways to input math digitally including typing, speech to text, and handwriting. Read more about Equatio here.

While Equatio is a robust program that has many facets, the below tutorial is focused on get started using Equatio in Google Docs with low vision students. Here is the transcript of the Equatio video.  

Here is more information on using Equatio with Read&Write. Note this 11 second video is not audio described. The video demonstrates how when the tool bar is expanded and then the play button is activated and Equatio reads what is on the screen. In this, case, Equatio announces the text and an equation.
