There are 3 sessions included in this training module that describe best practices for serving students with visual impairments and multiple disabilities, including the role & function of the TVI, effective service delivery models for serving students with visual impairments & multiple disabilities, and strategies for promoting quality assessment & instruction.
Participants will earn 15 ACVREP credits, 15 CTLE credits, or 15 PDP/CE credits by viewing the video presentations and lectures, and completing the assignments.
A structure is suggested for you, through the syllabus and the eLearning environment. Plan to spend 1 week working through each module. While this is a self-paced course, the material will have the most impact if you work steadily through the outline in the order it is presented. You may complete and submit the assignments in any order.
