This course explains an approach to supporting students’ pathways to success through a facilitated approach that empowers the student to lead the team. Participants will have the opportunity to practice facilitating such a session with students and teams.

This is a web-based, self-guided professional development activity for TVIs, Job Coaches, Orientation & Mobility Instructors, Parents, Teachers of the Deafblind or Severely Impaired, Rehabilitation Specialists and related service providers.
Participants will earn 20 ACVREP credits or 20 PDPs by completing the activities and quizzes. All assignments are required in order to receive professional development credits. An no-credit audit version is also available.
A structure is suggested for you, through the syllabus and the eLearning environment. Plan to spend 1 week working through each module. Participants are expected to be familiar with all material presented, and to submit all assignments where indicated. While this is a self-paced class, the material will have the most impact if you work steadily through the outline in the order it is presented.
