Description

This micro-credential is awarded to individuals who have successfully completed and passed the Creating Accessible Materials: iBooks, Word Documents and Powerpoint Presentations blended workshop. This blended workshop provides participants with the opportunity to create accessible materials using a variety of software tools.

Competency

In order to earn this micro-credential, participants will need to demonstrate the ability to design and create accessible documents using iBooks, Word, and Powerpoint.

Learning Outcomes/Objectives

Participants will:

  1. Create accessible Word Documents and PowerPoint Presentations.
  2. Create iBooks using the iBooks Author app.
  3. Demonstrate the ability to incorporate iBooks into the classroom with students who are emerging braille readers, CVI, O&M lessons, and more.
  4. Search the iBooks depository on the Paths to Technology website and share iBooks that they created.
