This tutorial explains the purpose of The Visual Impairment Scale of Service Intensity of Texas (VISSIT), demonstrates its use, and briefly reports the findings of its field-testing and initial validation study. The preliminary results of a larger scale, national study on the VISSIT will also be discussed.
