About Yourself:

We are TSBVI's Short-Term Programs! We offer group and individualized classes for students with visual impairments from around the State of Texas during the school-year and summer.

Our teachers are:

Margaret Edwards - "I love working with students on learning to use the access tools for math!  High-tech or low-tech, they may open the door to success."

Kathi Garza - "For me, one of the greatest things about teaching is having the opportunity to grow and learn along with my students. The highlight of teaching any type of assistive technology is watching students light up when they execute a command or acquire a skill that enables them to gain access to tasks right along with their peers."

John Rose"My favorite part of working with students is problem solving! Determining a specific need and creating step-by-step lessons for developing tech skills has been a major part of my teaching."

Nina Wibbenmeyer - "I love teaching assistive technology. Thinking of fun ways for students to learn these abstract concepts is a challenge I enjoy!"

We hope you enjoy our resources and look forward to hearing about what you are doing!
