Animals: iBook

An accessible iBook about animals and where they live.

This iBook is about animals and where they live (i.e. home, backyard, farm, etc.). Each page shows a different animal or location and plays sounds that coincide with the image.  See more iBooks created by Dr. Gary Bishop’s students. Animals is a book geared for emerging readers and/or students with CVI.

Note: This book was created using the free app iBooks Author on an Apple computer, which is no longer available. the book can be opened in Apple Books (formally called iBooks) and can be viewed on either an Apple computer or iOS device.

Click on the attached Animals file to open the Animals book. You must have the free Apple Book app on your computer or iOS device to view this book.  If using an Apple computer, the book will be physically located in your Download Folder (down arrow symbol located in the Tool bar at the top right).  Selecting the book (Animals) will open the book in iBooks.  If you are using an iPad, select the attached book.  Then, select Open In Apple Books.
