Self-paced

The NICU Experience

This tutorial gives participants insight into the precious first days of premature newborns and the additional consideration that twins bring.

In this tutorial, Dr. Al Lantzy recounts the story of one family in the Western Pennsylvania Hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). While every family’s story is unique, the 2004 journey of the Anthony family gives participants insight into the precious first days of premature newborns and the additional consideration that twins bring.

Participants will earn 1.5 Professional Development Points, ACVREP, CTLE, or Continuing Education credits by completing an online quiz.

This is a web-based, self-guided professional development activity for TVIs, VRTs, O&Ms, Parents, Teachers of the Deafblind or Severely Impaired, and Rehabilitation Specialists.

All sales on self-paced courses are final!
