Earn Credit for Strategies for the Activity Bank

Applying for Continuing Education Credit

What type of credit will I receive?

Two clock hours or two continuing education credits (also known as Professional Development Points) may be earned for each post.

How can I share my ideas?

We are looking for creative teaching strategies and classroom activities for students who are blind or visually impaired, including those with multiple disabilities or deafblindness.  We encourage you to submit activities that you have developed or materials that you have modified for children with visual impairments of all ages and abilities in all subject areas.

What should my submission look like?

Your activity should indicate the subject matter and grade level, if applicable.  Be sure to give it a title and a brief description.  Materials, procedures, variations, and teaching tips should also be included, along with a photo or photos of the materials or activity.  Think about what you would like to know when considering a strategy or resource for your own students. As always, please be mindful of student confidentiality, and do not include a photo of your student(s) with your submission.
