I have recently been employed by the Royal National College for the Blind in Hereford, UK, as a Biology teacher. The college is for students age 16+ as they prepare for university and employment. I will be teaching advanced level to 2 or 3 students and this is the first time in many years that a science subject has been offered to students at this level.
I have found your resources on mitosis and meiosis extremely useful and I was wondering if there are similar diagrams for other areas of biology (for example structure of a cell, with organelles) which you might be able to share with me?
The students I will be working with are all able to read large print, but I have found the majority of diagrams found in the books and on the internet are either in print which is too small, but which blurs when it is enlarged, or the diagrams have label lines all over them, making it difficult for the students to see the picture clearly.
