Length Measurement – Using Tactile Markers

Using tactile markers with students who are visually impaired.

This adaptation is so very simple, it’s hard to believe I hadn’t thought of it before and many others are probably already using it.

As per the picture, simply use a tactile marker to describe the location of the end of the object to be measured to allow for easier measurement once the object is moved.

In the case of the pictures, the height of the student and the length of the foot are being measured.
